Galvagrit® is a permanent slip resistant steel surface covering that coats the entire area you need to be slip resistant. This consists of a thermally applied random matrix of steel grit. It has proven to be a cost-effective way to improve safety.
Galvagrit® is perfect for stair treads, metal-bottomed walkways/catwalks/fire escapes, ladders, scaffolding, manhole covers, grates, utility box covers, heavy equipment, and cover plates to name a few.
We apply Galvagrit® in house, so it’s easy to incorporate into any project where it’s needed. Since its application is based on the Hubbell galvanizing process, you can count on the longevity and quality application of this product.

Galvagrit® meets or exceeds OSHA & ADA requirements for slip resistance and is UL Certified. Galvagrit® can be custom applied to meet specific project requirements. Galvagrit® galvanized surfaces have excellent surface hardness with the added benefit of rust protection for maintenance free, safe replacement for slippery galvanized diamond plate or slip resistant painted surfaces.
